Donald W. George

Donald W. George has worked as a travel writer and editor for the San Francisco Examiner and Salon.com., where he currently edits the award-winning site, Salon Travel. He has won numerous awards for his writing and editing, has appeared frequently on TV and radio as a travel expert, and has lectured around the world on travel writing and the travel industry. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two kids.
