Orhan Pamuk

Orhan Pamuk has been the recipient of major Turkish and international literary awards, including the IMPAC Dublin Award (2003). He is one of Europe's most prominent novelists, and his work has been translated into dozens of languages. Pamuk was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature on October 12, 2006, becoming the first Turkish person to win a Nobel Prize.
