David Quammen

David Quammen is a two-time recipient of the National Magazine Award for his science essays and other work in Outside magazine where he wrote the "Natural Acts" column from 1981 through 1995. He lives in Montana with his wife, Kris Ellingsen, on a small city lot without horses or cows.
