Ned Friary

Ned grew up near Boston, studied Social Thought & Political Economy at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and upon graduation, headed west. In 1978 he and Glenda Bendure set off with Lonely Planet's first book Across Asia on the Cheap. Since then they have written several books for the Lonely Planet series. Ned and Glenda live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts
