When Will I Receive my Order?
Most orders leave our warehouse within 2 business days. Standard ground delivery orders take approximately 4 to 10 calendar days from the date you order. We are in Massachusetts. The closer you are to us, the quicker your order should arrive. Please see our Shipping page for more information on Ground, Expedited, and International shipping.
The Globe Corner Bookstores will confirm with you via email that your order has been received. Please add us to your address book to avoid accidental filtering of any future correspondence; we may need to contact you if there are stock issues, or if we have any questions about your order.

Shipping
Charges
Our standard shipping charges (UPS or Priority Mail delivery to anywhere in the continental U.S., based on destination and size of the order ) are as follows:
- Books and folded maps: $5.20 base charge + $0.50 for each book and $0.25 for each map
- Rolled maps: $6.00 base charge + $0.50 for each rolled map
- Oversize books: $7.00 base charge (for New England) or $8.00 base charge (for the rest of the U.S.) + $0.50 for each item
Any online orders submitted after 12 pm Eastern Standard
Time will be processed and shipped the next business day (if in stock).
Please keep this in mind for expedited shipping requests, and adjust
shipping methods accordingly. See additional

Returns
Books and Maps:
You can return books or maps for
60 days from the shipment date. Please see details.
Globes:
Globes are not returnable after 45 days from shipment date. All globe returns require advance return authorization from the GCB Order Desk (800-358-6013; hcarrier@gcb.com). There is a 20% restocking fee for any globe returned.
Geochrons:
As they are custom-made per order,
we do not accept returns for Geochrons.

Backorders
If we can't fill your order immediately
because an item is either not yet released or out of stock, we'll
notify you via e-mail, fax, telephone or mail.
We'd like to resolve any order or shipment
problems as quickly as possible. Please send email, send a fax or
call us if we need to correct an error in processing your order
or if your shipment is late or damaged.

Gift
Certificates
If you would like to pay for your entire order or a portion of your
order with a gift certificate, please fill the gift certificate
number into the comments field on the online Order Form. We will
need a credit card number for order completion, even if the cost
of your order is less than the gift certificate amount.
